The People's Party of Canada is a grass-roots party. We do not have lobbyists nor large corporations to line our pockets like some of the other parties. All of our local riding executives are volunteers, therefore we rely on your support. 

Please donate to your local riding and/or your local candidate.

Donation Info

Donations to the EDAs are received by an authorized EDA agent.  An EDA agent is defined in the Canada Elections Act as a person appointed by the registered assocation, and includes the financial agent of the registered association.  The financial agent information for EDAs is available in the registry of electoral district associations maintained by the Chief Electoral Officer.

Tax Credits

Federal income tax credits are available for all qualified contributions

Tax Receipts

An income tax receipt will be issued for all contributions of $20 or more.

Please be advised that Elections Canada does not allow tax receipts to be issue in any other name other than that of the contributor.  The contributor is considered to be the holder of the credit card, the name on the paypal account, the name on a cheque or the name on the e-Transfer.

Tax receipts are issued either monthly or yearly by the EDA.  If you have any questions or have lost your tax receipt, please contact the respective EDA and they will issue a duplicate.

Regulations

In accordance with Elections Canada, we accept contributions only from Canadian citizens or permanent residents only, to a maximum donation of $1600 per year.

Cash contributions of $20 or more will not be accepted.

Contributions from trade unions, corporations, associations, groups or unincorporated businesses are prohibited.

Please note that contributions to the national party are not included in the yearly limits.
